Turn ordinary materials into wearable art without harming the environment. Learn a range of jewellery making techniques such as saw piercing and texturing and combine materials together using wires, and threads. Make a fabulous funky neckpiece or brooch and matching earrings. No experience necessary.

Have your say about improving services at the museum
Eleven years on since the redevelopment of the Dales Countryside Museum, we are now considering how to improve the services we provide.
From the 18th – 31st August there will be a display in the reception and an opportunity to contribute to the consultation process. Every day 9.30 – 5.30.
Yorkshire Dales National Park staff will be in the Community Office in Hawes on the 1st September between 10am and 4pm, to discuss possible changes and hear your views.
At the museum on 8th September, staff will be available with plans and information so please drop in and take the opportunity to have your say.

On the weekend of the 14th and 15th March
Friends of the museum are planning to commemorate the
last passenger train out of Hawes in 1959
There will be an exhibition and display of railway memorabilia and
on the Saturday we will be hosting a tea dance with refreshments
