• Do you, or someone you know, find it difficult to leave home to visit the local Library and Information Centre?

• Would you like your favourite books delivered to your door?

• Or maybe you prefer to listen to books on tape or CD?

• Would you like to be able to hire videos, DVDs or music CDs?

• Are there times when you need information but don't know where to find it?

The Home Library and Information Service could help by bringing the library service to you.

North Yorkshire County Council work with local volunteers to provide a free delivery service to customers who find it difficult to visit the Library and Information Centre themselves.

You may be eligible to receive the free home delivery service if, because of ill health, disability or age, you are unable to:

• leave your home
• carry books and other items
• or visit the Library and Information Centre yourself
