Seata Quarry Nature Reserve can be accessed by travelling on the A684 Aysgarth to Bainbridge road, as you leave the village take the left fork for Thornton Rust and travel ½ a mile towards Thornton Rust. Access to Nature Reserve is by a green road signed FP Lowgill Bridge, Seata Quarry ½ mile
